What we collect, why we collect it, and how it is looked after.
Bonnie Lass Beauty is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and how you can access it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We collect the information we need to care for you safely. That includes your name, contact details and date of birth, and the health information you give us in your consultation and health questionnaire, such as your medical history, medications, allergies and previous treatments.
Health information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act. We collect it only with your consent and only where it is reasonably necessary to provide your treatment.
To assess whether a treatment is suitable for you, to plan and deliver your care, to keep accurate clinical records, to contact you about your appointments, and to meet our professional and legal obligations as a registered nurse practice.
Clinical photographs are taken only with your consent, and that consent is recorded. Photographs form part of your clinical record. We will never publish a photograph of you, or share one outside the clinic, without your separate written consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
We use third party systems to run the clinic, including our online booking system and our client communication system. These providers store information on our behalf under their own security obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose your health information for marketing.
If you have opted in, we may send you clinic updates by email or SMS. Every message includes a way to opt out, and opting out will never affect your care.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure. Access to clinical records is limited to the clinical team involved in your care.
