What happens after someone takes the skin check

From "my skin has changed" to a booked consultation

Ten days of short, helpful messages from Dr Maria, written for the woman who has noticed her skin changing and doesn't want to look done. Each one teaches something and ends with an easy way to book. Then she stays on a gentle monthly newsletter, because someone not ready today may be ready in three months.

Your skin hasn't forgotten how to be skinPreview: Your guide is here, {first name}

Hi {first name},

Thank you for taking a few minutes to tell me about your skin. If you've looked in the mirror lately and thought "that doesn't look like me", I want you to know how common that is, and that there is usually a reason underneath it.

Here is your free guide, Why your skin changed after 40, and what a doctor looks at first. It's short and written in plain English.

Over the next week or so I'll send you a few short notes. No pressure, just the things I wish every woman knew.

Day 1Email · video
"I don't want to look done"Preview: A short hello from me

Hi {first name},

That's the sentence I hear most often at a first cosmetic consultation. Women want to look like the version of themselves they recognise. I've recorded a short video so you can meet me and hear how I think about skin.

I've been a doctor for more than 30 years, and I approach skin the same way I approach everything: understand what's happening underneath first.

Day 3Email
Why your skin changed "suddenly" in your fortiesPreview: It's rarely as sudden as it feels

Hi {first name},

Perimenopause isn't a single event. It can run for 10 to 15 years, and symptoms can start in the late thirties. During that time, collagen loss and skin thinning speed up. Nutrition, gut health and inflammation can all show in your skin too.

That's why at Mojo we start with what's happening inside, then decide together what, if anything, to do on the outside. You can keep it to skin only, or look at the bigger picture as well. It's your choice.

Day 5Email
What actually happens at a consultationPreview: No pressure, no hard sell

Hi {first name},

A lot of women put off booking because they're not sure what to expect. Here it is. I look at your skin and talk through your relevant health history. I take baseline photos for your file. Then I explain what I see, what I'd suggest, the alternatives and the risks.

You don't have to decide anything on the day. Some of the treatments I offer, such as PRP and threads, always need a face-to-face consultation and written consent first anyway.

Day 7Email
The questions women ask me mostPreview: Including the one about PRP

Hi {first name},

Do I need an integrative consultation too? No. A cosmetic consultation stands on its own. Combining them is there if you want it.

Is all PRP the same? No. At Mojo I use the Emcyte PurePRP system, a closed-system device. Standard PRP is usually spun once in an open tube, and PRF is a different preparation again. Which one suits you is a clinical decision we make together.

Can I talk to someone first? Of course. Reply to this email or call reception on 02 9133 8500.

Day 8Email · course of three
Why one visit rarely shifts what you've noticedPreview: Why most skin treatments are done as a course

Hi {first name},

Your skin renews on its own timetable, so most skin treatments are done as a short course with time in between, then maintenance. If we agree at your consultation that a course suits you, booking it up front keeps you in that rhythm and costs less than paying session by session. For example:

Skin needling, course of three$950 (save $100)
Clinical peels, course of three, face$450 (save $75)
SQT Bio-Microneedling, Resurfacing package$1,050.30 (save $116.70)
Each course includesSessions spaced for your skin, aftercare guidance, progress photos Maria to confirm

A consultation always comes first, and a course only goes ahead if it's right for you.

Hormones and skin. What a peel actually does. Why sleep shows on your face. The Skin + Hormones Evening invitation. Each one teaches first and ends with a soft "book when you're ready". Segmented by her tags, so someone interested in perimenopause doesn't get Onda emails.

Every message: general information only, not medical advice. All procedures carry risks. Individual results vary. Clinical wording to be reviewed by Dr Maria Mackey before anything is loaded into Go High Level.
