A lot of us hold tension in our face without noticing: clenching at the desk, frowning at screens, sleeping badly. Buccal Sculpt and Release is a hands-on facial massage that works from both inside and outside the cheeks to ease that held tension.
Filmed on a phone in the treatment room using the script further down this page.
Buccal Sculpt and Release is a beauty therapy treatment, carried out by Mojo's skin therapist under the clinic's clinical oversight.
Your therapist asks how your face feels, about any recent dental work, injectables or skin treatments, and checks the treatment suits you.
Massage along the jaw, cheeks, neck and around the eyes to warm up the muscles and ease surface tension.
With gloved hands, your therapist works gently from inside the mouth on the cheek muscles, where a lot of tension sits.
A few quiet minutes, then simple aftercare tips for the next day or so. Maria to confirm session length.
Like any treatment, it isn't right for everyone. Things such as recent dental work, mouth ulcers or cold sores, jaw problems, recent injectables or facial surgery, and pregnancy are checked first. Maria to confirm the full contraindication list. Some people feel tender afterwards. Every treatment has risks, and they're talked through before you start.
Tension that has built up over months doesn't usually let go in one visit. Booking a course of three keeps the sessions in a steady rhythm, so you're not starting over each time, and costs less than booking one by one.
Many clients pair it with their other skin care at Mojo. Your therapist can suggest how it fits around treatments you already have planned.
For a face that feels tight, puffy or tense
Prepaid packages are non-refundable for change of mind and need 48 hours' notice to reschedule, as per Mojo's booking policy.
Buccal refers to the cheeks, and the inside of the cheeks in particular. Buccal Sculpt and Release includes gentle work from inside the mouth on the cheek muscles, as well as massage on the outside of the face.
Mojo's skin therapist, under the clinic's clinical oversight. It is a beauty therapy treatment, not a medical procedure.
Most people describe it as deep and firm rather than painful, and your therapist adjusts the pressure as you go. Some people feel a little tender afterwards.
Maria to confirm session length, then this answer is filled in.
Often, yes, but timing matters around things like injectables, dental work and some skin treatments. Your therapist plans it with you.
That's what the check-in before your first session is for. If something means it isn't suitable, your therapist will tell you and suggest another option.
About 75 seconds. Filmed on a phone, vertical, by the therapist or Dr Maria. No music needed while filming. Talk to the camera like you're talking to one client.

| 5 to 20s | What it is | "It's called Buccal Sculpt and Release. It's a facial massage that works on the outside of your face and from inside the cheeks, where a lot of tension hides." | Slow pan across the treatment bed, then your gloved hands |
| 20 to 45s | The session | "We start with a quick chat, then massage along the jaw, cheeks and neck. Then, with gloves on, I work gently inside the cheek muscles. | 45 to 60s | Who it may suit | "People who clench at their desk, frown at screens, or just feel their face is holding the week. We check first that it suits you, especially if you've had recent dental work or injectables." | Back to camera, relaxed |
| 60 to 70s | After | "Afterwards you rest for a few minutes, and I'll give you a couple of simple aftercare tips. Some people feel a little tender." | Model sitting up, calm, no "after" comparison shots |

Hi {first name},
Thanks for watching. If you hold tension in your jaw and cheeks, you're not alone. Here's the short video again, and a quick at-home tip: unclench, let your tongue rest on the roof of your mouth, and breathe out slowly. Notice how much your face lets go.
Warmly, the Mojo team
Hi {first name},
People often ask what to expect. A quick chat first, then massage along the jaw, cheeks and neck, then gentle gloved work inside the cheek muscles. It feels deep and firm, and the pressure is adjusted as you go. We always check it suits you before starting.
Warmly, the Mojo team
